Solving claims and disputes

Resolving disputes without court proceedings is usually quicker and will save you the expense of additional legal and court fees. It can also very stressful going through court proceedings and so we try to avoid this for you wherever possible.

If somebody has taken you to court we will still try to settle the claim as soon as possible. If however, court proceedings cannot be avoided, we have the experience and knowledge to deal with them and guide you through the process.

FAQs

We can offer a range of fees including working to fixed or capped fees or working on an hourly rate basis, depending upon your needs. For new instructions, we can often agree with you a fixed fee for our initial advice, so you have certainty about your exposure to legal costs.
Whilst we will discuss your enquiry with you over the telephone to see if it is something we are able to assist you with, we are unable to provide you with any free initial advice. If your claim or dispute is for a low value, the Citizens Advice Bureaux may be able to provide you with initial free legal advice.
