Lorraine joined Jordans Solicitors as a Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Law Family team.
She began her legal career in 1994 and has specialised in all aspects of family law since 1999. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2008.
Lorraine has extensive experience in all aspect of private family law and can provide advice and representation in relation to the following:
- Divorce and dissolution of Civil Partnerships
- Financial settlements, Separation Agreements and Consent Orders
- Pre-nuptial, Post-nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements
- Protection from domestic abuse including Non-molestation Orders (injunctions) and Occupation Orders
- Issues relating to children including contact, residence, child abduction and relocation abroad.
- Special guardianships
- Grandparent’s rights
Lorraine is a member of Resolution which is a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a non-confrontation and constructive way.
Having been through the Divorce process herself, she is aware of the impact this can have on clients and their families. She prides herself on providing straightforward and realistic advice to achieve the best possible outcome and is committed to providing excellent client care.
Lorraine is based at our Selby and Wakefield offices but is able to travel to other offices for pre-arranged client appointments.
