Lisa McGirr joined Jordans Solicitors in 2008 specialising in Wills, Probate and Trusts. In January 2024, Lisa became Deputy Head of the Private Client department.
She has extensive experience of working with clients on all aspects of Wills and Probate, advising on a variety or matters including Will drafting, Trusts matters, Probate, Court of Protection Applications, Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax and Asset Protection advice.
Lisa is predominantly based in Dewsbury but regularly sees clients in our other offices; Wakefield, Selby, Wetherby, Horsforth and Penistone. She also attends home visits for clients that cannot travel to our offices.
Lisa achieved her Level 3 ILEX accreditation, before moving on to a paralegal role in 2012 and Deputy Head of the department in 2024. She has completed dementia friendly training, and with a friendly and approachable manner, Lisa has a natural ability to help people understand the legal process in a down-to-earth manner that clients often find reassuring.
