Katie Taylor graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2017 having spent her third year studying abroad in Rome. She then completed the legal practice course at BPP University.
Katie spent one year volunteering at Citizens Advice, alongside her studies. as well as 14 months working in conveyancing before joining Jordans Solicitors' Child Care Department in March 2020.
She qualified as a Solicitor in July 2022, and she currently works in the Child Care Department, having previously worked in this department as well as spent a brief period within the Child Abuse Compensation Department, January - March 2022.
Katie is predominantly based in our Wakefield office but can assist her clients by traveling to Wetherby.

In a recent Child Care Proceedings case, Solicitor Katie received the following feedback from Counsel who commented “how hard [Katie] had worked for [the client] in the preparation of his case, and that he should stay in contact with [Katie] regarding any future application he may wish to make.” It’s great to hear feedback not just from our clients but also from other legal professionals that we work with!
