Child Abuse Compensation Department
Johnny is an experienced CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority) Paralegal and Client Liaison Officer who joined our Abuse Compensation Claims Department in 2013.
Amongst his duties, Johnny is responsible for the day to day running of client CICA claims. He delivers CICA training and webinars and visits charities to give advice on the CICA claims process.
He is also responsible for Kirklevington Detention Centre cases and Medomsley Detention Centre Physical Abuse Settlement Scheme matters as well as various Redress Scheme cases including those involving abuse in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Johnny is also involved with the team in dealing with new client enquiries.
Johnny has received trauma informed training and is experienced in representing vulnerable clients.
He prides himself on client care, attention to detail and time management.
The Abuse Compensation Department acts for clients from across the UK. Johnny is predominantly based at our Dewsbury and Horsforth branches but is available to meet with clients at our other offices. He also attends home visits where necessary for clients who are unable to travel.
Away from work, Johnny’s interests include football, music and family.
