Abuse Compensation Claims Department

Amber is a Trainee Solicitor in the Abuse Compensation Claims Department, due to qualify in 2025. 

She studied Law with International Business at Northumbria University, and stayed there to complete a Master’s in law and her LPC.

Amber has previous experience in working in a family and care department and a civil litigation department.

She assists Solicitors in pursuing abuse compensation claims against local authorities, children’s homes, schools, religious and youth organisations, charities, football clubs, and detention centres, as well as dealing with new enquiries.

Amber has day to day responsibility for acting for clients who suffered physical and/or sexual assault whilst detained at the Eastwood Park Detention Centre.

She is a compassionate advocate for survivors of abuse, and ensures clients feel empowered and heard throughout their journey to justice.

The Abuse Compensation Department acts for clients from across the UK. She is based in the Dewsbury, Penistone, and Selby offices however she can travel to meet clients at the other offices.
