Staff Case Study - Lisa McGirr

Lisa started her career at Jordans Solicitors in February of 2008 where she started her Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law (ILEX course) and became a fully qualified Paralegal. Over the last 5 years, Lisa has continued her professional development, completing her Wills and Inheritance Quality Course and an addition ACAS course in Managing People. Lisa has also trained as a Dementia Friend, in order to further assist her clients. In January 2024, Jordans were delighted to promote Lisa to the role of Deputy Head of our Wills and Probate department.

Staff Case Study - Katie Taylor

Katie joined Jordans in 2020 as a paralegal within the care department before beginning her training contract in July 2020. She completed her Professional Skills Course by February 2021 as part of her training contract. In 2022, Katie fully qualified as a solicitor and continues to work in the Care department, primarily representing parents throughout ongoing care proceedings. She is now working towards gaining experience within private family proceedings and the Children's Panel Accreditation.

Staff Case Study - Kieran Browett

Kieran joined Jordans Solicitors in January 2022 as a Digital Marketing apprentice. Working alongside his course provider, and the Marketing Manager, Kieran achieved a Distinction Star after completing his apprenticeship in December of 2023. Alongside his course, Kieran completed online courses through Google and the Open University to further develop his skills while learning on the job. He then moved on to become the Marketing Coordinator for the firm, where he plans to gain as much experience as he can moving forward within his role.
