Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 and joined Jordans Solicitors in April 2024, working in the Abuse Compensation Claims Department.
He has extensive litigation experience, previously working in commercial litigation and professional negligence, with specialist expertise in claims against solicitors, unions, accountants and financial advisors.
Chris also previously represented former coal miners recovering compensation for vibration white finger, where previous claims were under-settled. Special care was required to be taken with this group of clients, who were regarded by the courts to be vulnerable. The experience he gained in acting for these clients was invaluable and has enabled him to make a seamless transition into abuse work, acting for vulnerable clients who have been subjected to historical abuse.
Chris has completed dementia friendly training and with a friendly and approachable manner, he has a natural ability to help clients understand the legal process in a down-to-earth manner that clients often find reassuring.
He prides himself on being efficient, responsive and pro-active, ensuring that all his clients are kept up to date and remain fully informed. He has worked with clients based locally, nationally and internationally, in resolving disputes both in and out of Court.
Chris is predominantly based at our Dewsbury and Selby Branches but can see clients in our other Branches. Chris also attends home visits for clients that cannot travel.
